After working in the rag trade for 18 years in Cork, I opened Samui in 2001. By then I had established my own individual style and I was confident I could supply something special to my clients.
In May 2008 I revamped the interior of Samui as I wanted to give each brand a little more space. The store is now easier to browse and has a more relaxed atmosphere. Most of my clients are like an extended family and I often have particular people in mind when I am in Paris, London or Milan on buying trips. Back in the store there's great excitement when new labels arrive. I'm blessed with a dedicated team who believe in Samui just as much as I do.
